Standard Matrimonial Interrogatories
Contained in the standard interrogatories are questions regarding factual financial information and witnesses. In most cases, the standard interrogatories should be sufficient. However, caution should be exercised rather than blindly using the standard interrogatories. For example, the standard interrogatories limit the request for information to a certain time period – usually the preceding three (3) years – and, in certain litigation, information dating back more than three (3) years is relevant and discoverable.
